It was a magnifying glass. It gave things some distortion. It was some silly boring fun. It could even turn people upside-down.

I put it on the windowsill in my studio, once or twice a day took a glance through it. It was just the same silly then. But the things in front of it suddenly changed: the dusty windowsill, the streaks on the window-pane, and the firm branches… They became visible as if they had never been there before the existence of the magnifying glass.
